An incident on the pressure line, whether involuntary or not, may have to be taken into account instantaneously, e.g. blocking of an injection nozzle or switching from one line to another via automatic valves. The user may want the flow rate to be restored at once as soon as the problem has been dealt with. Diaphragm pumps have a safety valve mounted upstream that is able to evacuate the excess capacity, but for a return to normal operation, it is necessary to wait until the control system has stopped operating, which is not instantaneous. DKM uses its own special device, which is connected to the impulse chamber and reduces or cuts off the flow without delay and immediately re-engages the pump once the problem has been done away with. This is valid for all operating pressures.
